In fact, some characters' attacks are so cool that any anime fan can easily recognize them, whether they've seen the series or not.
10 Moon Spiral Heart Attack Is Colorful And Powerful (Sailor Moon)
Sailor Moon may be known for its colorful animation and cutesy characters, but the attacks Usagi uses are incredibly powerful. This is especially true for the attack called Moon Spiral Heart Attack, which completely destroys any demon hit by it.
Not many characters can destroy their enemies in a single move, but Usagi manages to do so while looking incredibly cute. For fans of the Sailor Moon series, the colorful attacks are the best part of the anime, and this includes the Spiral Moon attack.
9 Multi Dragon Force Uses The Power Of All The Dragons (Fairy Tail)
Natsu's fire magic in Fairy Tail is pretty strong on its own, but it's made even more powerful with his final form, Dragon Force. Dragon Force essentially transforms him into a humanoid dragon with body parts resembling a dragon's, like scales and sharp teeth.
This form greatly increases the power of his magic, and he's even able to achieve Multi Dragon Force. Wendy enchants him with the power of all seven dragons, which makes for one giant and amazing attack which he uses to defeat Acnologia.
8 Ichigo Becomes The Getsuga Tensho (Bleach)
Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho attack in Bleach may seem like a basic attack, but the great thing about it is how versatile it is. When he first learns the attack, he's able to use it with both his Shikai and his Bankai to condense his Reiatsu and release it into a massive blast, which proves to be incredibly effective against opponents like Byakuya.
As he becomes stronger, Ichigo is able to absorb the power of his attack and become the Getsuga Tensho. The transformation looks amazing on him, and it's powerful enough to defeat Aizen in his final form. However, the downside to the Getsuga Tensho's final attack is it takes away all his Soul Reaper powers, but luckily for him, he doesn't lose his powers for long.
7 Hinokami Kagura Is The First Breathing Technique (Demon Slayer)
All of the attacks in Demon Slayer are incredibly cool, but this is especially true for Tanjiro's Sun Breathing technique. The Hinokami Kagura is not just a Sun Breathing technique, but a dance that is used in ritual ceremonies to ward off disease and threats. It's also the breathing technique that all other techniques are based on, which just shows how powerful it is.
In battle, the Sun Breathing technique envelopes demons in fire, and although it seems to be incredibly destructive, it's often used in a way that brings peace to the demons slain by it. Hinokami Kagura is also an attack that's passed down through Tanjiro's family, which makes it much rarer than the other breathing forms.
6 The Rasengan Is The Most Versatile Attack In The Series (Naruto)
The Rasengan from Naruto is an attack that every anime fan knows about. Not only is it incredibly powerful, but, like Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho, it's able to take on many different forms.
Naruto is able to use his wind Chakra nature to create giant Rasengans, shuriken-shaped Rasengans, and even a rainbow-colored Rasengan. While the attack is incredibly cool looking, it's also pretty destructive. The turning Chakra can create an outward explosion that's even more powerful than the Kakashi's Chidori.
5 Zoro's Billion-Fold World Trichiliocosm Can Cut Anything (One Piece)
Zoro from One Piece has many great attacks. With his three sword style, he can easily cut down giant sea kings and even create a tornado of force. His coolest attack, which is the Billion-Fold World Trichiliocosm, gives him the power to cut anything in his path.
Compared to Zoro's other techniques, the Billion-Fold World Trichiliocosm is simple but effective. While he's traveling at high speeds, he can use his Haki-infused blades to cut down anything in front of him, even the pirate Pica, a giant man whose body turns completely to stone thanks to his devil fruit powers.
The great thing about Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is that it's full of amazing characters with some really cool battles involving alchemy. However, the character with the coolest and the most powerful alchemy is Roy Mustang. With the alchemic symbol on his gloves, Mustang is able to create giant fireballs.
It may be completely useless when it's raining, but when Mustang really gets serious, he can completely destroy his opponent. Lust learns this the hard way when Mustang bombards her with dozens of attacks. It's one of the best moments of the series and really showcases just how powerful Mustang's alchemy is.
3 Greedy Curtain Is Unlike Any Other Attack (Burn The Witch)
Burn the Witch may be a short series, but it showcases some of the most unique magic attacks in anime. This is especially true for the character Bruno Bangnyfe, who uses spray paint to create his magic attacks. Bruno's Greedy Curtain attack is especially memorable because it envelopes his opponents in a shield covered with graffiti.
The attack is unlike anything else in anime, but it's also incredibly effective. Greedy Curtain doesn't attack his opponent but creates a shield that causes them to attack themselves. For anyone else, this would have been massively effective, but unfortunately for Bruno, he happened to be using it against a legendary Dragon, which almost no one could destroy.
2 Bakugo's Howitzer Impact Is Terrifyingly Destructive (My Hero Academia)
With a personality as loud as Bakugo's is in My Hero Academia, it makes sense that his signature attack would be just as loud and powerful as he is. His explosions can destroy a whole stadium's worth of rubble, but with his Howitzer Impact attack, Bakugo can create a rapid spiral that hits his opponent with a series of massive explosions.
As Bakugo grows in skill, his attack has only gotten bigger and better. During the Sports Festival arc he, takes out Todoroki in one blow, but during the World Heroes Mission movie, Bakugo creates an explosion that takes out two villains at once. Considering how powerful his attack is now, it's scary to think about how powerful it will be in the future.
1 Gojo Has One Of The Most Powerful Attacks In Anime (Jujutsu Kaisen)
As the most powerful character in Jujutsu Kaisen, it makes sense for Gojo to have one of the best attacks in anime. His innate domain is cool enough, but during the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc, he demonstrates just how destructive his sorcerer technique can be.
His Limitless attack is an innate technique that gives Gojo absolute control over space. He uses this technique to control the space around him, but he also uses Blue and Red cursed energy to create a massive purple attack wave. Compared to everyone else in the series, his power levels are just off the charts.
