While some of the best upcoming 2023 games will be groundbreaking, there’s no doubt that greener pastures lie beyond that too. So today, we are here to talk about the best upcoming games that are due to be released in 2024 or even later. While you will have to do your fair bit of waiting for them, it’s still nice to read about them and get excited. We agree and have come up with the 2024 upcoming games list. So, let’s dive right in!

Games Releasing in January 2024

1. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Quite definitely one of the most played games of all time, the Prince of Persia has consistently remained an action-adventure platformer that is a mix of amazing gameplay, a good story, and a gripping experience. While you would think the POP saga ended with our childhood, it is now coming back and greater than ever.

The latest addition to the series is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, another heavy-hitting platformer that is currently being developed by Ubisoft. The Lost Crown will feature a new hero named “Sargon,” who will venture into the unknown to rescue the kidnapped Prince Ghassan. From the extended trailer we saw, the upcoming Prince of Persia is set to be one of the best we will see in 2024. So if you are one for living out your childhood again, add this game to your wishlist now.

2. Radiance

Did you like the Chernobyl TV series? Well, then you will surely love this game. Radiance is one upcoming game that focuses on nuclear disasters or, more accurately, trying to avoid them. You are a worker in a nuclear power plant whose sole job is to ensure it runs smoothly and doesn’t cause a meltdown. Based on being a simulator, Radiance will make players go through the motions the job involves. Along the way, you will also learn the secret past of the nuclear plant.

The level of tasks will range from something as menial as fixing a pipe to more complicated ones, which, if failed, might cause a meltdown. It is up to the player to manage these tasks along with children that, for some reason, are also on the site. The more tasks you do, the more you learn about the world, so be sure to finish them all. Oh, and if you fail, you just might create a new species. Check out this upcoming game that is due to launch in 2024.

Games Releasing in February 2024

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Gamers who have gone through the entire Batman Arkham series (a part of our best Steam games list) know how detailed and amazing the entire universe is. RockSteady Studios, the company behind that series, is now working on a brand new iteration called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. While the game won’t feature the entire squad, it will feature the core characters. These include the Harley Queen, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.

As one would have guessed, the plot of Suicide Squad revolves around the gang’s attempts at fighting and eventually defeating the Justice League. Since the game takes place five years after Arkham Knight in the same city, seasoned gamers will notice a few callbacks. You can play and switch as any of the characters and even team up with friends through online co-op. There is also a prequel comic titled ‘Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum‘ that explains away the events so players can enjoy one of the best 2024 upcoming games.
