Despite how fans might feel about their own high school experiences, they admit that many anime schools would make learning more exciting. Some schools teach about using superhuman powers. Others instruct their students on how to pilot giant robots. Some are so extravagant that going to school would feel like a luxury. Whatever school experiences fans had, there is no denying that anime schools are unique and memorable places.

Kuoh Academy is the main location for High School DxD. This place can be incredibly dangerous to those who know too much. Issei Hyodo learns this the hard way after he is killed on a first date and is resurrected by a group of Devils.

Kuoh Academy is full of incredibly powerful mystical beings. Regular people can even find ways to power themselves up to compete with others as well. It may appear to be a regular institution on the outside, but it harbors many dark and magical secrets.

13 Fuuka Academy Has Magical Girls (My-HiME)

Any school that requires students to ride a boat to get there is cool. Fuuka Academy in My-HiME exists on a far-away island to prevent the rest of the world from seeing its magical girls doing battle with one another.

Jujutsu High's Tokyo location is deep in the woods and is disguised as a Buddhist Temple. This gives it a scenic, and peaceful appearance, while also keeping its true nature from the public. Jujutsu High's status as a sort of headquarters for full-fledged sorcerers adds to the school's mystique. This school is one that audiences would not mind visiting for themselves.

11 Military Academy Of Grandzehle Is Out Of This World (Majestic Prince)

The focus of Majestic Prince might not be the academic city that all the lead characters come from. However, any school that is in space and teaches their students how to pilot giant robots is on the upper end of the "cool spectrum."

Although the main characters of the Military Academy of Grandzehle eventually have to go and fight off aliens, they at least have the benefit of being educated in such an amazing school. While it seems like a luxurious school life at the onset, students have to be careful not to lose all their points. The school seems harsh, but it is undoubtedly a fascinating experiment.
