Her mum was booked in for a C-section tomorrow but surprised her parents at 4.44am this morning following a lightning-speed, less than two-hour labour at Auburn Hospital.

In Victoria, second-time parents Kareen and Ori are still deciding on a name for their baby girl, who interrupted a New Year's Eve dinner.

"We saw all the partygoers on their way home while we were coming in. It was our biggest New Year's Eve in a few years," mum Kareen said.
